The integrated stool pulls out to give comfortable seating to the midwife or birth partner, creating a supported kneeling
space for the birthing mother. When fully assembled the couches offer a comfortable flat surface that can be used for
examinations / suturing, removing the need for a bed.

The fixing kit metalwork
(in steel and stainless
steel) bolts to a ceiling
joist / girder. It uses
generic steel metalwork
to anchor an eye-bolt
from which to suspend a
sling-cloth. The eye-bolt
is long enough to
protrude through a false
ceiling.
The sling cloths measure
approx. 6m in length
